I am a 20yr Career Firefighter, a wife, and a mother of 2. My oldest child graduated her first ISR session at 10 months old. 13 years later she still utilizes her swim-float-swim skills, and is a prime example of the impact ISR can have on a child's ability to be strong and confident in the water.  As your Instructor, I have been on all sides of this equation. I have been the First Responder working a child drowning, and then trying to comfort an unconsolable mother on scene. I have been the Mom committing to ISR, driving each day and sitting on the sidelines for 6 weeks. To now instructing ISR myself and working to break the statistics of fatal child drownings. I take great pride in working with your child and have an incredible passion to be part of a preventive option to keeping your child safe. I encourage you as a parent to sit poolside and ask questions. Your little one is learning a very challenging skill and will constantly look at your for your approval! Together we can give your child a skill for life.
